Juicy black fruits of cassis, black cherry, and blackberry are accented by a slight clay like minerality. The palate is dense at first with big mid-palate structure that has a slight pop of heat that bumps the juiciness and draws out the length. A hint of classic Cab resinousness is present without being vegetal. The super long finish shows toast, cocoa powder and pomegranate.
Cabernet Sauvignon is known for its dark color, full body and ample tannins. This wine is dry, with medium acidity, and beautiful complex flavors. Note the aromas of black curant, dark spices and a bit of spicy oak. Pair with steak, truffles, Beef Wellington with honey roasted carrots, Korean-style beef stir fry, pepper-crusted Ahi tuna or grilled lamb with rosemary.
